I have been trying to obtain a teacher's discount card for nearly two years. I teach quilting in two different school districts. Each time I ask at my store at Antioch Shopping Center in Kansas City North, they tell me to go on the internet and sign up for the discount card. I was unable to do that. Nothing worked. Finally I called the store today and a man told me to go to joann.com and sign up there. BUT I can find nothing about teacher discount cards at this site. I am beginning to think the teacher discount card is a myth. It would be so much easier to just fill out a form in the store. Help!

I made a purchase yesterday at Joann's in ashwaubenon. A sign was up stating all pucnhes 1/2 off - when I checked out for four punches I purchased were not on sale because the signs come from headquarters and this store didn't carry the brand stated. My eyesignt isn't what it used to be and I didn't see the listing of brands - but since the store didn't even carry the brand of punches on sale I feel this was wrong. Thank you for hearing me out.

I love your store. Over the years I have seen the merchendise improve so much. All of it is great quality. I go there several times a week. Your fabrics al wonderful and so are the sales.

I shop at the JOANN fabrics store in Queensbury, New York. The employees
are very knowledgable about sewing and are very friendly and helpful.
There is also a plentiful supply of fabrics to choose from as well as
flowers and crafts.

I want to comment about ordering out of stock merchandise at your Aktanibte Springs store. It is impossible to buy Friskars refill blade cartridges for my personal paper trimmer as they are never in stock. Following the suggestion of the salesclerk, I ordered them from the store on November 11, 2003, and I waited and waited asking each time I went in where they were. Finally, on December 27th when I asked June was able to figure out that they had come in long ago, but because someone at the store had written on the carbon, they couldn't read my name or 'phone number. She asked me to go home, find my copy, call her back and give her the skew number. I did this and she said she would mail them to me. They never arrived. Today, January 2, my husband and I made a special point of going to the store and waiting while the information clerk shuffled through the orders, found the right one and called for June as she didn't know where the refill blades were. About 20 minutes went by on leaden feet before the blades were sent to the desk. Since no correction had been made on the carbon, it looked as if I owed $22 for someone else's order even though my order was pre-paid. Thus, they were never sent to me. At last, I had my order in my hand and was ready to sign off. I began to write my name when I realized that I was signing someone else's order and said so. I left my original order sheet with the clerk (while copy) since they did not have a readable copy.
This is no way to run a store. I like Jo Ann's. I have your credit card and use it constanstly and am in your store in Altamonte Springs at least once and week but I have to say I am not happy about the sloppy way that orders are handled.
